As a geographer, I am interested in all things spatial. I leverage both open source and proprietary geospatial softwares and databases to create web and desktop products.
My interest in the geospatial industry began with my undergraduate education at California State University, Chico, where I completed a Bachelors Degree in Geography studying environmental planning and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). After several years working as a GIS analyst in the environmental planning realm, I returned to school to complete my Masters of Arts in Geography, with an emphasis in utilizing open source geospatial technologies.
I am excited to continue to work in the emerging geospatial field and recognize the increased integration of spatial concepts in a variety of industries.
I live in Chico, California with my wife and our two children.
